Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, a musician's daughter from Mexico was born into an adored family of musicians. She was raised listening to classical Boleros from the past along with classic romantic songs and the Ranchero style. Ana loves opera and tangos, along with all dramatic performances. She was taught by her mother to sing. However, she started intensive singing lessons through Flavio Belcerra at 16 when the singer was famous as a Mexican opera Tenor. She continued her musical studies at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterward at the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. The beginning of her professional career was spent performing with various chamber ensembles and opera choruses in Guadalajara. Following her move into the United States, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. After 2002 she relocated to southern California. She currently is a part of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and frequently performs solo in classical Latin American music at private performances. As a local performer and instructor and instructor, her passion for music and art keeps her involved in a range of different projects. Ana was also an active member of the Community Chorus of Redlands as and The Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to the Inland Master Chorale for allowing her to perform traditional Latin American song.
