Rosalia

Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is a Spanish pop and flamenco singer. Since she was a teenager the singer has been active in pop music and flamenco. Her music also strays into other styles like hip-hop soul or Trap. Flamenco musician Pepe habichuela described her voice as sweet and sharp, but still full of the intensity and abrasions of more experienced singers. El Mal Querer is her second album that was it was released in 2018 and was commercially and critically acclaimed. Following Los Angeles, her debut album her album was nominated for an Latin Grammy for Best New Artist and also the Grammy. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd, was released in 2021. Motomami the third album by her included songwriting collaborations with Cory Henry, James Blake along with other artists. In March 2022 the set was released following the Saturday Night Live performance of Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was the first Spanish soloist on the show on Saturday Night Live. Motomami Rosala was also the recipient of three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award two times, was the first woman to be awarded both the award and Latin Grammy.
