Christopher Robert Evans (born June 13 January, 1981) is an American actor from the United States. His career began with acting in television series including Opposite Sex in 2000. Evans gained acclaim for his performance as Human Torch, the Marvel Comics superhero, in Fantastic Four and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer in 2007. Evans has also been featured in version of graphic novels in film and comics such as TMNT (2007), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009), Snowpiercer (2003). His fame grew due to his role as Steve Rogers / Captain America in various Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and Captain America: Civil War as well as the ensemble film The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019). He became one of the top-paid actors on the planet due to his role in the Marvel franchise.
